Halloween 2008
So, here is Cowboy Ben, riding his horse. The funny thing about this costume is that Ben picked it out (begged for it, actually, in the store) several weeks ago and has insisted on wearing it around the house since. He LOVED it! Then, Halloween finally comes and he only wants it on for a total of 7 minutes. Literally. We met our playgroup the night before Halloween for pictures--this is all we got!
On Halloween day, Ben was invited to his friend Jackson's 3rd birthday party. Here he is during the 5 minutes he actually wore his costume--no hat. 
No costume Ben, watching Jackson blow out his birthday candles.
He much preferred playing outside in the leaves, with no costume.

And here's Noah's rendition of the caterpillar. He barely fits in the costume, even though he's three months younger than his brother when he's wearing it (God bless the chunky monkey).

At our neighborhood party, before trick-or-treating.
The costume is on!!! (although partly covered by a jacket since it's a little chilly outside.)
Noah looks like he's waving.
Ben figured the horse part of the costume would slow him down from getting candy (smart man).
Waiting for trick-or-treaters to come to our house.
Enjoying a lollipop.
Ben just spotted the candy.
"Mom won't notice if one piece is missing..."
